RESOURCES AND SUGGESTIONS FOR CHURCH PRACTICES

 

To encourage congregants to recycle in the church:

 

  • Place recycle bins at every wastebasket with a basic list of what the church is currently recycling.

 

  • Set up a recycling area for items that require special handling, for example batteries which can go to Springfield Battery(2645 Cook St, Spfld 523-7031)  and used CFL bulbs which can go to Springfield Electric Lighting and Desigh (700 North 9th, Spfld 788-2100).
