Artist’s Way on the
Creative Path

First, the Artist’s Way, then the Artist’s Way and Beyond, and now the third series of classes based on the writings of Julia Cameron. This series will be based on her new book on creativity, Finding Water.  This book completes Cameron’s bestselling trilogy on the creative process. 

In these classes, we will “return to the drawing board” of our own creativity and renew our dedication to our own creative work.  Cameron maintains that “Artists work with one ear cocked to the Divine.”  She believes when we move toward our own creativity, we move towards our creator.  As we seek to become more spiritual, we find ourselves becoming more creative.  Our creativity and our spirituality are so closely connected that they are in effect, one and the same thing.  Actually, God is the Great Artist.  We are the creations.  We are intended, in turn, to be creative ourselves.

The classes will include periods of listening, sharing and focusing within.  Depths of understanding and self-realization will be uncovered.  There will be “aha” moments as awareness grows.  The sharing process will yield wisdom and delight and, sometimes, laughter.

For these classes you will need the text, Finding Water, by Julia Cameron, a notebook and a pen or pencil.  Attendance in The Artist’s Way series, first in this series of three, is a prerequisite.  Classes will be at Unity Church, 417 Cordelia.  Pat Meeter will facilitate.

Sacred Secrets        Finding Your Way to Joy, Peace and Prosperity

This book, published by Unity House, illuminates the Law of Attraction and other spiritual principles that have been taught by the Unity Movement since 1889.  Whether you’re facing a life challenge, seeking deeper spiritual understanding, or simply wanting to make an already good life great, you’ll find practical guidance in these stories.

Cindy Luton facilitates.  This class will be an opportunity for discussion and the sharing of ideas.  It will continue meeting until discussion of the book is finished.  Purchase the book from our bookstore.  Anyone is welcome to begin attending as long as the class continues.

Wednesdays, beginning April 9, offered on a love offering basis.

Reiki I with Gloria Ferguson
Saturday & Sunday May 10 & 11, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In this class, you will learn what Reiki is, the history of Reiki and how Reiki works. You will learn the basic hand positions for giving a complete treatment to yourself and others; receive the Reiki I Attunement; and give and receive a complete Reiki treatment. Certificate, guided self-treatment tape and manual, Reiki: The Healing Touch, are included.
Class: 10 hours. Fee: $150.
